BMA Energy was engaged to upgrade the engine and plant reliability of the CSG power station at Wilga Park, with the scope of the works including the expansion of the plant’s current generation availability from 12MW to 16MW. Working closely with the client, our team was able to make significant improvements to the engine control systems, maintenance and repairs, increasing the power station’s average output and raising availability from 85% to 98%. In addition, BMA Energy set up and tuned a total of four Jenbacher 620 gas engines and four Jenbacher 320 gas engines to facilitate the site’s EPA licensing, ensuring that all eight engines successfully met specific EPA emissions targets.
