Jenbacher J320 & J620 Zero Hour Engine Rebuilds

BMA Energy was additionally awarded the zero hour rebuilds of 2xJ320 and 2xJ620 Jenbacher gas engines for Wilga Park Power Station. Again, as our client had come to expect, our team delivered a full turn-key solution for the major overhaul and servicing of the engine packages.

The scope of the work included the disconnection of all electrical and mechanical components, as well as the removal of the engine packages and alternators. The zero hour rebuild of the engines was carried out at our engine overhaul facility located in Sydney, which involved:

• Machining the engine block
• Component servicing
• Timing gear train upgrades
• Re-installation
• Commissioning
• Low & high voltage component testing
• Critical function component testing

With full oversight of the BMA Energy team during disconnection, removal, transporting, overhauling, installation and commissioning, the engines have now been put back into service and are ready to run another 60,000 hrs.
