The Woodlawn Landfill Gas Power Station contacted BMA Energy for a complete plant operations review to see where engine performance could be improved. Our technicians conducted a full evaluation, carrying out assessments on individual engines and plant assets, identifying several operating issues in the process. With some major changes applied to engine control systems, these issues were resolved and the engine and power station output reliability rose to levels never seen before, increasing from 5.5MW to 7.3MW. The new and improved site currently consists of seven, healthily running Jenbacher 320 gas engines.
